Wealth Management Trader and Investment Professional
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-driven Trader & Wealth Management Professional to join our dynamic and fast-growing financial services firm. As a Trader & Wealth Management Professional, you will be responsible for managing client investment accounts, executing trades, researching investment options, and contributing to the firm’s broader wealth management strategy. Key Responsibilities:
Trading and Managing Client Accounts:
Execute trades based on newly drafted funds in client accounts, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
Make trades in client accounts based on investment strategies, asset allocation, and market conditions.
Execute Roth IRA conversions and manage tax implications for clients.
Link client accounts to the firm’s software, ensuring seamless integration and accurate tracking.
Investment Research and Recommendations:
Research new investment opportunities, including funds, ETFs, stocks, and other asset classes, that may benefit clients based on their financial goals and risk tolerance.
Provide investment recommendations to clients regarding employer-sponsored plans (401(k), pension plans, etc.), focusing on maximizing returns and tax advantages.
Participate in the firm’s Investment Committee, contributing insights and recommendations on investment strategy and portfolio management.
Account Maintenance and Client Communication:
Monitor and check client accounts for new contributions, ensuring timely and proper application of funds.
Respond to client requests for withdrawals, ensuring compliance with firm policies and providing timely execution.
Participate in the firm's billing process, including ensuring the accurate application of fees and preparing client invoices.
Compliance and Spot Checks:
Run regular spot checks to ensure client funds are properly invested in accordance with firm strategies and risk tolerance.
Ensure all trades, account transfers, and activities comply with regulatory requirements and firm policies.
Collaboration and Client Support:
Coordinate with financial advisors and Client Service Managers (CSMs) on the investment components of client accounts, providing timely updates and insights.
Prepare investment reports and documents for client meetings, ensuring financial advisors have the necessary information.
Assist in onboarding new clients by ensuring that their investment accounts are properly set up and integrated into the firm’s systems.
Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare investment proposals based on the firm's tax-advantaged approach and client needs.
Generate and manage performance reports for client accounts, providing analysis and insights to clients and team members.
Design and update client portfolio rebalancing strategies, ensuring assets remain aligned with client goals.
What we are looking for:
Skills & Qualifications:
Team player who can manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
Ability to solve problems on the fly and think critically under pressure.
Knowledge of personal finance, financial planning, and wealth management strategies.
Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks.
Strong understanding of investment products and financial markets.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (a B average or higher).
Prior experience in financial services, trading, or wealth management is a plus.
Securities and insurance licenses required (e.g., Series 7, Series 66, or equivalent).
Experience with CRM databases and portfolio management software preferred.
